It is never too late

I have introduced some of this money management stuff to a couple of friends. The few who get it and act on some ideas are usually astonished at the results. Many wonder why they didn’t start years earlier. Some wonder why no one taught them about money in school.

There is a friend who is now heavily investing in Treasury bills. He now analyses the interest rates and yield curves like an expert. A few months ago this guy thought Treasury Bills was Bill Clinton’s brother! I know someone else who has started clearing his loans like a problem. Another one has decided to enrol for a Masters program to increase his value at work. Another friend is now tracking all his expenses like crazy. Many of these people have opened up unit trust accounts and are consistently saving more money.

What I have learnt is that it is never too late to put your financial house in order. Consider yourself lucky to be interacting with the content on this page. If you act on a few of these ideas your are more likely to reach financial freedom compared with the majority of the population.

Remember the best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago. The next best time is today.
