Scarcity and price

Something valuable yet scarce commands a high price. Almost everyone can lift a brick. That is why brick lifters get paid little. On the other hand not everyone can treat an illness. This is why Doctors earn relatively well.

A unique skill or service is valuable and if there is scarcity of supply the pay is high. The way to earn more is to deliver something valuable which is unique. Riding a boda is not unique and there are thousands of bikes around town. On the other hand creating a mobile platform for ordering boda rides is unique and valuable.

Investing in a unique skill set or product can generate exponential returns. This is basic economics and it works all the time.
