Imagine attending your own funeral. Try to visualize what is happening. What will people say about you? What memories will your spouse have of you? Will your children dearly miss you? Will your friends regret losing you? How about your colleagues? And your neighbors? What legacy will you leave behind? What impact will you have created?
To begin with the end in mind means to start with a clear understanding of your destination. It means to know where you’re going so that you better understand where you are now and so that the steps you take are always in the right direction. It’s incredibly easy to get caught up in an activity trap, in the busyness of life, to work harder and harder at climbing the ladder of success only to discover it’s leaning against the wrong wall. It is possible to be busy—very busy— without being very effective.
People often find themselves achieving victories that are empty, successes that have come at the expense of things they suddenly realize were far more valuable to them
It is easy to get caught up with the busyness of life and to lose focus of the things which really matter. Beginning with the end in mind allows us to direct our actions towards our goals. Try to think through your daily actions and ponder whether they are truly aligned to the end you desire.
With a clear end in mind, WEALTH CREATION becomes an easy undertaking!
