The power of repetition

I recall having tremendous fear as I learnt how to drive. I would dread those driving lessons. Today driving is almost second nature. I am not consciously aware of the fear I had. This is because I drive almost daily. My mind is now conditioned to drive on auto pilot without much conscious control.

As you repeatedly do something you become proficient at it. This applies to money as well. You can develop good money habits through repetition. One can develop a savings habit by saving only 10k consistently and then gradually increasing the amount. An exercise routine can easily be developed by doing 10 steps daily while watching TV.

A positive mindset can be developed by listening to a good audio book as you commute to work. Try and listen to the 30 minute audio book called “The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale” on YouTube for 30 days in a row. You will be amazed at the way your mindset will begin to shift.

As you repeatedly do something it becomes firmly imprinted on your subconscious mind and you form a permanent habit.
