At the beginning of the year a friend of mine took a large whiteboard and pinned it on the wall in his bedroom. He then wrote the following in large capital letters.
TARGETS
“I WILL HAVE 50 MILLION BY JUNE 2019”
MANTRAS
I AM A MONEY MAGNET
I AM DESTINED TO SUCCEED
MY PURPOSE IS GREATER THAN MY CURRENT STATUS
WITH HARD WORK AND GOD’S BLESSINGS I CAN HAVE EVERYTHING I DESIRE
Every morning and evening he would recite these words repeatedly. I thought this was all part of a silly exercise and often made jokes about it.
Gradually he would then tell me I made two million today. I made 500k today. I made 200k today. I then realized there was something magical happening here. How come he was manifesting what was on the whiteboard. He has almost hit his target before the end of June 2019.
I then began to research to find a logical explanation to what was happening and landed on Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich classic. My friend had found a DEFINITE AIM and had reduced it to writing. He had developed a BURNING DESIRE to achieve this definite aim. The daily recitations had helped to ingrain the idea in his SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND through the process of AUTO-SUGGESTION. This led him to develop a deep FAITH in his ability to earn this money. He already saw himself in POSSESSION of this money.
He then set up PRACTICAL PLANS to acquire this money and faithfully EXECUTED them. Even though there were upsets he PERSISTED on achieving his GOAL. Sooner or later the money started to trickle in and he began to MANIFEST what was on the whiteboard.
