Forgive yourself for messing up financially

“That slight misdeed of yesterday, why should it mar today?

The thing he said, the thing you did, have long since passed away;

For yesterday was but a trial; today you will succeed, And from mistakes of yesterday will come some noble deed.

Forgive yourself for thoughtlessness, do not condemn the past;

For it is gone with its mistakes; their mem’ry cannot last;

Forget the failures and misdeed, from such experience rise, Why should you let your head be bowed?

Lift up your heart and eyes!”

“Let us not look back in anger nor forward in fear but around us in awareness.” – Leland Val Van De Wall

Many of us have messed up when it comes to money. We may find ourselves heavily indebted. We may have messed have messed up at work and got fired. We were enticed into a gold deal which blew up in our faces. We may find ourselves living beyond our means. We may find ourselves too anxious whenever the money issue comes around. We maybe lazy to work hard on our finances. We may find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck. We may be overwhelmed and constantly worried about money and how we are going to take care of our families.

Whatever situation we find ourselves in we need to forgive ourselves. For yesterday is but gone and a new dawn awaits. The best time to plant a tree was ten years ago. The next best time is Today. Today brings a new promise to change our relationship with money. Money is a good thing and can be an obedient master. Today is a good day. Forgive yourself and let go of the past.

Look towards tomorrow with renewed hope and courage.
