Hard work vs skills

If you are hardworking and highly skilled, the sky is truly the limit. All successful people are highly skilled at something and are extremely hardworking. 

The problem is if you are both lazy and don’t have any skills. This is a terrible place to be. Poverty will continue to be a welcome guest in your life if you don’t do something about it. 

There are two paths out of such a predicament. The first is to start being hard working. But being hardworking without any real skills has several limits. You will work hard but wealth will continue to elude you.

You must gain some marketable skills as well. But being skilled and lacking discipline and hard work is a sure way to mediocrity. So you have to work on both. Acquire higher skills and work harder. As you progress your fortunes will improve.
