“Each day acquire something that will fortify you against poverty, against death, indeed against other misfortunes, as well.” Seneca.
Each day is an opportunity to acquire something of a value. A new skill. More knowledge. More insights. A little money. Done consistently these little acquisitions build up into a fortress of fortune. Just one day at a time is all you need. As long as each day is a little bit better than the previous day then there is progress. So work on that project every day. Push towards that goal everyday day. Practice that skill everyday until it becomes second nature. Walk a few more steps daily. Eat a little bit healthier everyday. Read a little everyday. Reflect and meditate just a little bit everyday. Like Martin Luther said, “If you can’t fly, run; if you can’t run, walk; if you can’t walk, crawl; but by all means keep moving.”
