Setting up a new spice garden bed!

We have cleared some debris from the backyard and are setting up a new spice garden bed!!!

First we bought some black garden soil and created a raised bed as can be seen here.

We have already obtained some spice seedlings from a local agricultural expo like rosemary, lavender, thyme, etc.

We used some old concrete blocks to create one of the edges of the bed. The walls and verandah provided the rest of the edges!

We have then installed a basic sprinkler irrigation system to ensure the plants are well irrigated all the time.

We are going to add organic compost manure from chicken dropping and then mulch using wood shavings. Thereafter the plants will be ready for transplanting!
