Who says you can’t rear chicken in your home within town? So we have about 30 kuroilers in a small chicken coup just behind in the backyard. These will take us for atleast 6 months!
We eat atleast one chicken every Sunday. In the nearest market these birds go for Ugx 35,000 each. Plus we get about 3 to 6 eggs per day. Not so bad after all.
All you have to do is feed them well, vaccinate, and provide a clean confortable shelter. In return they will reward you with tasty eggs and tender meat.
These chicken are free from diseases and antibiotics used by commercial poultry farms.
