The Law of Polarity tells us that everything in life has two sides. For every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. Problems come with solutions, darkness pairs with light, and poverty sits opposite riches. This duality shows up everywhere: in right and wrong, health and disease, and male and female.
Philosophers teach us that we become what we think about. Our circumstances reflect our habitual thoughts. If you find yourself in poverty, it’s likely because many of your thoughts are focused on scarcity. Poor health often stems from dwelling on negativity. Feelings of sadness can result from constantly thinking miserable thoughts.
Our minds are powerful tools. By thinking, we can create a mental image of the life we desire. When we focus on this image with faith and purpose, we imprint it onto our subconscious mind. Our subconscious then drives us to behave in ways that lead to achieving our goals.
This process isn’t easy. It takes a lot of mental effort to focus on what you want rather than your current circumstances. Imagining good health when you’re sick, or dreaming of wealth when you’re struggling financially, is tough.
But to change your circumstances, you need to use the Law of Polarity to your advantage. There are always two sides to a story. If you’re broke, it means you have the potential to gain wealth by focusing on abundant thoughts. Illness signals that health is within reach. Every problem in your life comes with an equal and opposite solution. You just have to find it.
A helpful strategy is to look for opportunities in every negative situation. Losing your job might open the door to pursuing your passions. A failed business could guide you towards more profitable ventures. A missed opportunity might lead you to a better one.
Remember, there’s always a silver lining to every dark cloud. Instead of focusing on the negative things you’ll inevitably encounter, seek out the silver lining.
